money you can comfortably afford. I suggest that you get in
touch with a real estate lender very early in the process. They
can review your financial picture and provide you with a prequalification
letter as well as options for financing to best fit your personal
situation. It's a good feeling knowing that you're looking at property

Neighborhoods are extremely important. Remember the saying,
"Real Estate is about three things. Location, location, location".
Think about the kinds of things that would be important to you.
Schools, lot size, proximity to shopping, historical significance,
all of these can be important in choosing a neighborhood. It is
a good idea to drive around the various neighborhoods during different
times of day to get the feel of the various areas. I’m always happy to give you my opinion as well.
